What is PUWER? PUWER regulations places duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over work equipment. PUWER also places responsibilities on businesses and organisations whose employees use work equipment, whether owned by them or not.

What is the difference between a PUWER assessment & a PUWER inspection?
A PUWER assessment is a broader evaluation against the individual PUWER regulations of Work equipment, ensuring its suitability, maintenance and inspection requirements, specific risks and training.
A PUWER inspection is a more focused check to identify defects and its safe operation as per Regulation 6 of PUWER.
